Group Policy?

Unread postby Eoraptor » Thu May 08, 2008 9:25 am

I noticed something odd, some of the members of the "Beta Group" have their names in bright blue (or some other color on other board layouts) while others are standard green. Why is that?

Those who are willing to beta are blue, those looking for beta's remain normal.

Because it has to be set as the default usergroup. We're working on some difficulties.

Now blue are you. SaW should be able to do so now as well.

Yeah, I see the promote/demote group option now in the UCP... it wasn't there before. :)

Well, would ya look at that.

Um, so yeah. Apparently I can make people blue too now. So, if anybody in the Beta group wants to be blue, thus signifying to the Board that you are willing to beta read for someone else, send me a PM and *poof* it shall be. :D

People can chose which of the groups they are members of they want showing, in their preferences.
(the option has been there like always. but I think it used to default to the last group joined.)

The only group I know of that doesnt have the name distinct from the normal group is the donor group. So no point in chosing that one if you want to stand out.

Hold it right there, slick. I don't do cakes, okay? I don't bake 'em, and I don't jump out of 'em... Well... except cupcake... I'd definitely do her!
