One thing, for some reason the search for a Member. Name begins with, has no list of letters. Anyway, I'll give the pruning a few more days before I swing into full action. First step I'ma be trimming those whove *never* visited after registering.

I don't donate at all either, though, I have a legitament reason not to. Short answer to that is ... I'm simply strapped for cash as I'm working a barely 15hr work week.

I didn't want to give the impression that I have a problem with people who don't donate ...
My sincere apologies if I raised that impression ... I know from personal experience how tight one's budget can get.

Good to see we're back. 99% of the time I'm too broke to donate, too. Um..., side note. I updated a story a couple of days ago, and..., well, the update is MIA. Any chance of getting it back, or no?

Firefox users ... There's still a chance to recover data if you do as follows:
(1) Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... continued/ and install the cache Viewer add-on
(2) Restart Firefox (default)
(3) Go to tools > Web developer > Cache Viewer
(4) In Cache Viewer, search for "haven.net/view". This will list all your recent "viewtopic" pages ... in other words, the threads.
(5) Now you can either:
(5A) search for a topic number you know you need (eg. this topic has number 9280), select it and right-click - save as. You can call it any name and end it with ".html" When you double-click, it will now open in your browser.
(5B) select all files, click on save-as. Cache viewer will ask you in which folder they need to be saved. All files will now be called "viewtopic##.php" files where ## is an incremental number.
(6) You can either rename the *.php files to *.html or open the *.php files from firefox (Ctrl-o to open, select the file you need)
(7) when the file opens, you don't have the formatting, but you do get the texts

the Donate widget is causing problems - it's not properly closed off or something, so several pages with it, most notably the Search page, the User Control Panel, the entire IAYC board, and the "this post has been added/modified" page, have EVERYTHING on them linking to the Donate page.

Ironically the donate page itself has this problem, so it loops when you try to actually donate.

Is that why everything keeps highlighting when I move my mouse anywhere? It's honestly driving my nuts when I try to check one thread and the whole page lights up. /bitching

The login page also has this problem in Opera and Firefox, so you can't log in,
it just continually drops you onto the donation page whenever you try. As you
might imagine, this is somewhat annoying. >.>
