I will be doing some major re-working of services over the weekend to increase speed/reliability.. Therefore there will be some downtime.. and I am not sure when.. So if we're gone, be sure we'll be back.

I am SO SO SO sorry!

We lost everything since 6/30 at 11:30am... The new server ATE the database when I went to download it to move it back here.. I was moving back here because the new host apparently CENSORS things and I just didn't know till people brought it up and I tested it.. So.. It's now back on my private server where there's no censorship... I am just glad I didn't have to start the board over from scratch..

EDIT: I appreciate the help of Sven listened while I cussed and swore at this thing to get it working again.. He also volunteered to help with a major bit of work that fortunately wasn't necessary in the end..

We lost 4 WHOLE PAGES of Distracted by the Sexy, on top of that, I lost kgs_wy as my friend, as well as a number of PM's. Hope this can be fixed. Get back to me please and thank you.

Also lost 15 pages of the LPTP thread. Thankfully, I have the odd habit of keeping windows open whenever I post a cookie, so I didn't lose my latest work...

I can't even begin to understand the techno lingo, Shrink, but I understand that it's all very difficult. Thanks for all your efforts!

It's alright with us Shrink. Considering what further issues this probably could've caused, we're pretty lucky we didn't lose more.

Benzie, I'll really dumb this down for you. Basically: Shrink had everything after 06-30-12 at 11:30 saved to someone else's computer, and they censored what was being saved... And then there was no back-up because... Idk, there should have been one.

Is there no way to somehow retrieve and repost the lost files?

If someone happened to back up the posts on their own computer; the urls are no longer valid so entire pages are lost on the net. According to Shrink's post, the information was lost during the return.
