Possible issues...

Unread postby Shrink908 » Wed Apr 10, 2013 1:13 am

I can't remember if I mentioned it, but... The night before we moved into this house someone stole the outside a/c condenser unit from this house.. It's going to be replaced, but hasn't been yet.. Tues saw the temp hit 86.. Today (Wed) is supposed to be thunderstorms and hot (aka hot, humid and power issues). So if we see some downtime it's due to either power problems or me deciding it's too hot to risk the equipment and I shut it down. As of now (1am) it's still 78 in the house with ALL the windows open and fans running.. With the incoming rain I'll have to close a majority of the windows if it gets bad, and it's supposed to be high winds and possibly squall lines.. The weather report says possible tornadoes and/or hail, thunderstorms and heavy winds, with winds being possibly "straight line winds" (the type that knock trees and such over).. Thursday the temp is supposed to drop back into the 60's and the weather is supposed to be less volatile. Hopefully we won't experience downtime, but I can't promise we won't..

Sorry about the downtime folks.. That storm finally hit (later than originally predicted) and we were without power for about 90 minutes and then unstable power for a while after.. I waited till the power stopped flickering before bringing things back up..

am glad it was minor... I saw the Ndos went down, and then my news feed started coming up with reports of tornadoes in your area, so I got a lil worried something had happened to you and yours

Fortunately our area is urban enough tornadoes don't like it.. They prefer flat land so that there's not much obstruction to stop the rotation.. Built up areas don't get hit as often for that reason.

From now on, you're not allowed to let the website go down whenever there's a tornado or flood or anything that makes us worry about why the site is down.
